Cut The Cord is a business initiative located out of the Farmington Valley. They help clients "cut the cord," reducing or eliminating their cable bills and provide service to increase internet speed, hide unsightly wiring, and more.
I worked with Mark LeBlanc to create a website for his “Cut
the Cord” initiative and create the branding for Cut the Cord.

Creating a logo that resonates with the residents of Connecticut.
My process for creating the logo for Cut The Cord CT was to examine what the campaign was about what the message was, and what I ended up understanding from the stakeholder about the project in general, my findings concluded that cutting the cord meant to get people off traditional cable TV services and save money while doing that, thus I created designs with that in mind.
The logo featured symbolic elements like an outline of the state, scizzors, and also a cord, it was quite literally on brand with Cut The Cord CT.
Creating a website for Cut The Cord CT, with features like in-page scheduling, a direct to facebook chat function for inquries, newsletter sign ups, a gallery, and other marketing oriented features for increasing lead generation.
My process for creating the Cut The Cord CT website was to first figure out exactly what the client wanted on the website, I did that through a client interview. Research on competitors was a little tough because competitors didn't really exist for this sort of service just yet so I spoke with Mark about his customer base and had his marketing manager lead me towards what elements the website needed to be considered a success.
The Cut the Cord website really allowed me to flex my creative muscle incorporating a lot of animated UI and a single-page design, using the Webflow service to provide the CMS component and other external services such as linking the website integrated chat with facebook, and a scheduling API built right into the page.
